THELMA GATLIN-WILSONThelma is the CEO of New Perceptions and founded the treatment facility 14 years ago. She has been in recovery for 26 years, and has 24 years of experience in treatment. Thelma has served as Program Director for two other treatment centers over a twelve year period, and opened New Perceptions because she loves working with clients and bridging the gap between addicts and their families.
GREGORY THOMPSONGregory is the sober living house manager and has been in recovery for 8 years. He has been working in recovery for 6 years.
Dr. ROMANA ZVERERA
Dr. Z is an addiction psychiatrist, board-certified in General and Addiction Psychiatry who currently consults at Hezelden Betty Ford Outpatient clinic in West LA. She specializes in performing comprehensive psychiatric consultations of Dually Diagnosed patients and developing treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapies, motivational interviewing, utilizing 12-step involvement and pharmalogical management. |
WILLIAM GATLINWilliam Gatlin is the CFO, Facility Manager, and co-founded New Perceptions 14 years ago with Thelma. He is a recovering addict who has been sober for 25 years and has worked in treatment for 20 years, William has studied in addiction, and loves working with people in treatment. His favorite saying is "Never give up on the suffering addict because no one ever gave up on me. We help the addict, not carry them."
CAROLYN GATLINCaroline is a Psychotherapist and LCSW /ACSW She has 40 years of experience with families and children and specializes in the area of chemical dependency among young adults. She is passionate in working with the families dealing with a loved one with a chemical dependency and helping children coping with parents that are chemically dependent |
